Depot Maintenance Technician
Keeping critical installations safe, reliable and operational
A fuel depot runs on trust: installations that perform, systems that respond, and people who act before problems escalate. We have 2 depots in Luxembourg, Bertrange and Dippach.
As a Depot Maintenance Technician, you play a key role in keeping our depot safe, compliant, and fully operational. You work hands-on with technical installations and collaborate closely with the Depot Safety, Maintenance & Project Engineer.
This is a role for someone who enjoys responsibility, variety, and real technical impact.
Your challenge
Ensure the safe and reliable operation of all technical installations in a high-risk industrial environment. You will:
Maintain and repair critical equipment
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical installations, including pumps, motors, valves, measuring systems, and loading equipment.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues
Identify faults, perform repairs, and test equipment after interventions to ensure operational continuity.
Work with automation and instrumentation
Read and diagnose Omron and Siemens PLCs, analyse alarms, and support troubleshooting. You inspect and calibrate sensors and instrumentation on site, working closely with engineers and external partners.
Support daily depot operations (20–40%)
Assist with train unloading, equipment inspection,s and safe loading or pumping operations. Participate in evening and weekend on-call duties when required.
Keep safety and compliance front of mind
Apply HSSE, Seveso, and ATEX rules at all times. You report risks immediately and actively contribute to safer, more reliable installations.
What you bring
At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance
Strong skills in industrial electricity, electromechanics, and automation
Ability to read electrical and automation diagrams
Practical knowledge of Omron and Siemens PLCs (diagnostics and program reading)
Basic knowledge of instrumentation and ATEX environments
Fluent in English & French
Technical diploma in electromechanics, industrial electricity, or automation
Required certifications & mindset
Low- and high-voltage electrical certification (Q)
ATEX Level 2 (or willingness to obtain)
Driving licence B
You work accurately, independently, and safely
Flexible for troubleshooting and occasional weekend interventions
Clear communicator with operators and contractors
