As Field Engineer at Q8Truck, you ensure our truck stations stay operational, safe and up to standard. You manage maintenance, solve technical issues and drive improvements across a large and diverse region (Belgium, Luxembourg and France).
You take ownership. You act fast. And you keep everything moving.
Your biggest challenge
You manage a wide network across Belgium, France and Luxembourg. You plan your work efficiently, set priorities and ensure every site gets the attention it needs.
You work independently, take initiative and act as the technical owner of your region.
What you’ll do
Keep stations operational
You monitor the condition and performance of stations. You act quickly to resolve technical issues and ensure reliability.
Plan and execute maintenance
You organize maintenance activities across your region and ensure efficient planning over a large territory.
Own your budget & follow the 5-year plan
You manage OPEX and minor CAPEX projects. You actively contribute to and follow up the 5-year maintenance and investment plan.
Drive improvements
You identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve performance across the network.
Take ownership with suppliers
You engage directly with suppliers and contractors. You take initiative, challenge them and ensure quality delivery.
Work closely with Project Engineers
You collaborate on project handovers and ensure a smooth transition from construction to maintenance.
Ensure compliance
You prepare inspections and ensure all stations meet legal and QHSSE standards.
Support operations
You act as a key contact for technical issues and support the ServiceDesk when needed.

This is you
You have an engineering background (mechanical, electromechanical, electrical) or equivalent experience
You bring hands-on technical experience in maintenance or infrastructure
You work independently and take initiative
You are strongly organized and plan efficiently across a large region
You communicate directly and manage suppliers with confidence
You are analytical, accurate and solution-oriented
You collaborate easily with different stakeholders
You are fluent in French and English, any additional language is a plus
You are willing to be on call (rotation)
