The Q8 history

Q8 has been active in the Benelux since 1983, when Kuwait Petroleum Corporation took over the Gulf network. In 1986, the Q8 brand was launched, and we quickly grew through acquisitions including BP, Aral, and Mobil.

In Belgium, we became one of the largest players with a network of Q8 and Q8 easy stations. In the Netherlands, we acquired Tango and expanded further. Today, we are a sustainable and innovative mobility player, with Q8 electric, Q8Oils, and smart digital solutions.

In België werden we een van de grootste spelers, met een netwerk van Q8- en Q8 easy-stations. In Nederland namen we Tango over en breidden we verder uit. Vandaag zijn we een duurzame en innovatieve mobiliteitsspeler, met Q8 electric, Q8Oils en slimme digitale oplossingen.

Q8 is more than just a fuel brand. Beyond our Q8 and Q8 easy fuel stations, we offer fast charging through Q8 electric, and we’re building our own network of Q8 electric fast chargers across Belgium. We also operate Q8Truck, a network tailored for international freight traffic.
