Kuwait Petroleum (Belgium) N.V. strives to make its website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that digital accessibility is essential to provide all users with an equal experience, regardless of their abilities or the technologies they use.

De website Q8.be is gedeeltelijk conform met de WCAG 2.1 niveau AA-richtlijnen.

Deze status is vastgesteld op basis van een interne toegankelijkheidsaudit uitgevoerd in juli 2025, aangevuld met expertreviews tijdens de ontwikkeling van nieuwe componenten.

Hoewel een groot deel van onze website voldoet aan de toegankelijkheidsnormen, blijven er nog een aantal punten die niet volledig conform zijn. Deze zijn in kaart gebracht en worden verder aangepakt in het kader van onze digitale verbeterstrategie.

We streven ernaar om deze toegankelijkheidsissues op te lossen in opvolgende releases. De conformiteitsstatus zal opnieuw worden geëvalueerd na afronding van de geplande optimalisaties (voorzien in Q4 2025).

Digitale toegankelijkheid is voor ons een continu aandachtspunt. We blijven de site actief verbeteren op basis van feedback, gebruikersonderzoek en technische audits.

Digital accessibility was considered from the start during the development of this new website. Nevertheless, at launch, there are a few known issues we are aware of:

• PDF and Word documents do not yet fully meet accessibility standards (e.g., structure, reading order, tags).

• Images and icons have alt texts, but these are not always descriptive or necessary (e.g., decorative icons).

• Touch targets (such as buttons or links) are sometimes slightly too small on mobile screens for comfortable use.

• Semantics and ARIA labels are not yet correctly applied to some components, which can affect the experience for screen reader users.

These issues are scheduled for improvement in the coming months. We aim to address them gradually in future releases.
