Your role: make an impact across the Americas


As Business Development Manager, Energy, you’re the connector. You build relationships with customers and distributors across North America and turn opportunities into growth.

You spot trends, scout new prospects, and translate customer needs into smart, scalable solutions. You lead commercial campaigns, set up technical trainings, and introduce new products to the market. You know how to get buy-in—both externally and internally—and you never lose sight of the bigger picture.

You collaborate closely with colleagues across departments. Together, you align business development, sales strategy, innovation, and product positioning. You stay ahead of the competition and help shape the future of our energy offer.


What you’ll do


  • Grow our Energy business across the Americas (stationary gas engines, turbines, and more)

  • Lead customer and distributor relationships—from prospecting to long-term partnerships

  • Launch new offerings and organise events, trainings, and seminars

  • Monitor market trends and translate them into strategic advice

  • Work with internal teams on pricing, marketing, and go-to-market strategy

  • Help bring our brand to life—through strong positioning and consistent messaging


What you bring


  • A degree in (bio)chemistry, engineering, business, or similar

  • At least 5 years of experience in a commercial or technical environment (preferably in lubricants or energy-related)

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in an international context

  • Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus

  • A commercial mindset and deep customer focus

  • You think ahead, act strategically, and enjoy working across teams – but you're just as comfortable taking initiative and working independently

  • You’re result-driven and ready to take ownership
