Car Wash Terms and Conditions

The instructions for use, operation, entry, and all other instructions provided by the operator or its staff must be strictly followed.

The operator of the system shall not be liable for any damage to vehicle parts that are not supplied by the original manufacturer of the vehicle and/or whose material properties and/or method of attachment to the vehicle are unsuitable for use in car washes. This applies in particular to accessory wheels, wheels with foil coverings, hollow wheels (especially with dual tires), improperly secured vehicle parts, custom-made attachment elements (e.g. spoilers, antennas, etc.), and vehicles or vehicle parts covered with foil and/or a matte finish. The same applies to any pre-existing paint damage and to vehicles that were first registered at least thirty years ago. In the case of such vehicle modifications or any other identifiable risk of damage, the customer must always consult the operator in advance to confirm the possibility of a safe wash. The above exclusion of liability does not apply in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by the operator or its personnel.

The customer/driver undertakes to disclose, in a timely manner and prior to the wash, any circumstances known to them that may lead to damage to the vehicle or to the legal property of third parties, in particular the car wash facility itself. Failure to do so releases the operator from any liability, unless the operator or its personnel have acted with gross negligence or intent. Any liability of the customer/driver towards the operator for damages remains unaffected.

The operator shall also not be liable if the customer/driver fails to notify the operator or its personnel immediately after the wash and before leaving the premises of any claims based on obvious damages, unless such damages were caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct on the part of the operator or its personnel.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
