Where can you charge?
At home, at work & on the road
With the Q8 electric charging card, you’ll have access to nearly all public charging stations and fast chargers around the Benelux. Whether you’re a private user or a business, you can also install a charging point at home or at the office for even easier electric charging. It’s a complete, all-in-one solution that fits your needs, wherever you are.
Charging at home
Home charging is becoming more popular and with good reason. A wallbox lets you charge faster, safer, and smarter than a standard outlet. It lets you take advantage of off-peak hours or use solar energy during peak times. A recent electrical inspection or digital meter can make the setup even easier. Plus, government incentives and tax benefits can lower the price of electric charging at home. All in all, it’s a smart way to get more out of your EV, right from your driveway.
Charging at the office
Let your parking time become charging time. While you focus on work, your car gets powered up too. Many businesses use chargers with lower output – around 11 kW – but by the end of the workday, your battery is usually full again. That means you can drive home fully charged, without giving up your free time.
Charging on the road
When you’re on the go, Q8 fast chargers (DC) are your best bet: they’re much faster than standard AC chargers. How fast? Well, that depends on several factors: the type of charger, your EV, and how full your battery already is. Pro tip: skip charging to 100%. Charging up to 80% is faster, better for your battery, and frees up space for other drivers.
